Subscription tracking is a side feature here, not the main product. Experian’s free app exists mainly for credit monitoring and score tracking, but once you link a bank account, it also pulls out recurring charges and shows them alongside your credit information, giving you a rough picture of what’s draining your checking account every month without needing a separate app for it.
Where Experian charges money is for doing anything about those subscriptions. Canceling a subscription directly through the app, across a list of more than 200 supported providers, is limited to paid IdentityWorks members, with plans running roughly $24.99 to $34.99 a month depending on the tier. That pricing makes sense if you’re already paying for the credit-monitoring features and identity protection, less so if subscription tracking is the only thing you’re after, since dedicated apps in this category do more for less.
