FamZoo
Tap a star to rate
FamZoo has been running since 2013 and built its pricing around a single idea, a family with five kids shouldn’t pay five times what a family with one kid pays. The flat rate is $5.99 a month, or $59.99 if you pay two years upfront, and it covers every child you add along with prepaid debit cards for each of them. The system runs on what FamZoo calls a virtual family bank, an internal ledger where parents can move money between accounts, set up automatic allowance, and track chores.
The feature that goes further than most competitors is internal lending, a parent can set up a small loan to a teenager with its own interest rate, which turns an abstract concept into something the kid actually experiences with real money. Cards work anywhere a standard debit card is accepted, and parents keep full visibility and approval rights over every transaction. It fits larger families in particular, since the flat per-family price makes it cheaper than Greenlight or Acorns Early once you’re past two or three kids.
